Picture of my cards and jewelry are forthcoming...Please be patient! For now, something to consider during such dark economic times...I have to keep remembering to give it all to Him!

Tonight

Rachel Marie Bentham

Tonight the road is darkened,
I cannot find my way,
The clouds have taken o'er the moon,
And kidnapped precious day.

Tonight the road is darkened,
My eyes search but do not find,
To find familiar things I long,
And panic grips my mind.

Tonight the road is darkened,
But not for another hour,
For tonight the Lord will come,
And dark will vanish in His Power.

Tonight the road is lightened,
My burden has been released,
The grip of night upon the Son,
Is gone and dark has ceased.

Tonight my load is lightened,
My knees fall to the ground,
Tonight I hear my Saviour,
And that the only sound.

The Lord endured His chains to free us from ours...though they can look quite different now. Often they come in the form of financial fears, burdens from the past, and troublesome relationships.
It can be all be overwhelming as we try to fall asleep at night...May we always remember how the Lord came and what kind of faith He commanded us to have-that of a child's!
